Dwight Hampton is a Senior Advisor, Clinical Operations for Renaye James Healthcare Advisors and a Field Surveyor, Accreditation & Certification Operations with the Joint Commission. In this role he partners with organizations identifying their unique needs, provides on-site consultation and education to a variety of ambulatory healthcare organizations inspiring them to improve patient care, quality, and safety. A highly decorated retired naval officer, his extensive experience in military medicine has given him a strong background in population health and primary care transformation.

Dwight has held several leadership positions over the course of his career. Dwight served as a principal advisor to the 38th Surgeon General of the United States, Deputy Director of Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Patient-Centered Medical Home Program Management Office, managed numerous primary care clinics and gained his high reliability organization experience while working as staff at the Nuclear Power Training Unit, Charleston, South Carolina.

Dwight earned his nursing degree from Howard University College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences in Washington D.C. He also earned his Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Health Care Management from Trident International University. Additionally, Dwight earned his Diversity and Inclusion Management certificate from Cornell University.
