Vice President of Programs

Alicia Berkowitz, MPH, PMP, has more than 25 years’ experience in progressive leadership positions at small- to mid-sized government healthcare consulting firms, managing healthcare project and operations portfolios, and developing and maintaining long-term client relationships.

As the Vice President of Programs, she will develop and lead a Program Management Office guiding community-based, federal, and state consulting projects. She will also provide senior leadership on strategic initiatives related to service line growth, corporate and project performance monitoring, corporate capacity and resources, and corporate financial health.

Ms. Berkowitz has partnered with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and National Institutes of Health. She has worked with NCQA and quality improvement organizations, and consulted to hospitals; health delivery systems; and community, rural, and federally-qualified health centers.

In managing multi-million-dollar projects, she has skillfully ensured seamless start-ups; fiscally responsible, compliant, quality-driven project operations; and long-term client, provider, and patient relationships. Implementing project performance metrics and operational standardization has yielded operational and fiscal efficiencies. She has held Vice President of Client Delivery, Vice President of Marketing, and Group and Practice Area Director positions.

Ms. Berkowitz earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lafayette College, a Master of Public Health, Health Policy and Management, from Yale University School of Medicine, and an Economics Certification from Cambridge University, England. She is a certified Project Management Professional.
