COLUMBIA, MD, JULY 7, 2022 / AGILITYPR.NEWS / July 07, 2022 / Renaye James Healthcare Advisors has partnered with UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Maryland to bridge the gap in healthcare between the plan provider and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in Maryland.

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Maryland recognized the workforce and patient access challenges of FQHCs due to the COVID-19 pandemic and identified the need to support these essential Maryland safety-net organizations. UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Maryland tapped Renaye James Healthcare Advisors to provide technical assistance to the FQHCs’ clinical, population health, quality, health informatics, and leadership teams. Renaye James Healthcare Advisors will recommend innovative processes to improve patient outcomes through quality improvement programs, care management, care coordination, outreach, and patient engagement services.

The Renaye James Healthcare Advisors project team, led by Jenene R. Washington, MD, MBA, FAAP, consists of subject matter experts in healthcare quality, care management, health informatics, healthcare operations, and revenue cycle management. Many of the team members are former FQHC employees and current FQHC advocates.
